About the role:
As a Data Analyst, you will be passionate and experienced at translating data into actionable insights. The role centres around building out complex reporting, and generating data-driven change to business activities and strategic direction.
Working in the Data and Analytics department, you will work with a variety of stakeholders and cross-functional teams to design reports and dashboards, derive actionable insights, support our data pipelines and contribute towards data governance initiatives.
In addition to:
- Clean, transform and validate data to ensure it is reliable, usable, and accessible
- Design, build and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor key business outcomes
- Analyse and interpret trends and patterns in complex data sets, communicate results and offer potential solutions
- Complete ad-hoc analysis and reporting requests from senior stakeholders and various business departments
- Perform root cause analysis to ensure data quality throughout our pipeline
- Proactively contribute towards improving reporting standards, data governance, architecture and team processes
- Present findings to a variety of stakeholders including senior management
- Deliver upon all of the above responsibilities in a timely manner to ensure high-quality service to internal clients
What are we ideally looking for?
- 2+ years proven experience in a similar role
- Experience with data visualisation tooling e.g. Looker, Tableau, PowerBI
- Experience with a database query language (we use PostgreSQL and Snowflake)
- Moderate to high competency with Excel / Google Sheets
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to problem solve in a systematic way
- Strong written and verbal ability to communicate complex ideas and interface between technical and business stakeholders
- Driven and proactive with ability to work autonomously and as part of cross functional teams
- Strong initiative with the ability to influence others to gain buy-in and alignment
Salary Offered:
